Twitter gives written apology to house panel for wrong map

JCP chairperson Meenakshi Lekhi told a news agency that the apology was submitted in the form of affidavit signed by Twitter chief privacy officer Damien Karien for the wrong geo-tagging of India’s map. In an earlier deposition before the parliamentary committee, Twitter officials in India had said the organisation respected the sensitivities involved.
